New Design Prototypes

I’m so excited to have 2 of 3 prototypes done for a new hat design! I’m hoping to publish it soon, though not sure on an exact date yet. The pattern will be called Nouveau Bohemia and will have a beanie, slouch and extra slouchy version.

So far I have the slouch and beanie versions done and will probably get the extra slouchy version done tomorrow. I just love how these turned out and have been wearing them out and about already. They’re so nice and the Madelinetosh 80/10/10 MCN worsted is just a dream to knit with! The slouch was made with the color Quilt and the beanie with Warm Maize.

Someone brought up the fact that this one would look great in a handspun, and I totally agree! It’s such a versatile stitch pattern in that it looks good in both solids and variegateds. I can’t wait to publish and see what other great colors and yarns people make it with!

Wow! That’s a beautiful pattern! I love the combination of cables and lace! The variegated yarn is very pretty

What a gorgeous hat! And it’s funny that you’re in my same chair It’s even funnier because the walls in my last apartment were that EXACT shade of green!
